Joe Heyd got into the business in 1993 when he started working at one of USA Muffler & Brake’s locations. Joe began to help manage all 10 of the USA Muffler & Brake shops, and in 1997, he bought USA Muffler and Brake in Chicago, IL. Over time, the business changed from a muffler only repair shop to a general automotive repair and maintenance shop, servicing most makes and models. Joe has kept USA Muffler & Brake in its current location since 1997, and enjoys working at the shop to this day.
